callme ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the callme mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: Name, email address, date of birth, gender, and profile photos you provide during registration.
- Location: Your country and city used to show nearby users and for discovery. We do not store precise GPS coordinates.
- Voice and audio: Real-time voice audio transmitted during calls and live streams. We do not record or store your voice conversations.
- Usage data: Call durations, features used, and session activity.
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens.
- Messages: Text messages sent within the app between connected users.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the callme service
- To match you with other users based on your preferences
- To send push notifications for calls, messages, and activity
- To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
- To process subscription payments via RevenueCat and Apple
- To show you users nearby based on your country and city
3. Information We Share
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Other users: Your display name, profile photo, gender, and country are visible to other users as part of the app experience.
- Service providers: We use Firebase (Google) for database and authentication, Agora for real-time audio, RevenueCat for subscription management, and Expo for app delivery.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Messages and call history are deleted immediately upon account deletion.
5. Children's Privacy
callme is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If we discover that a user under 17 has created an account, we will delete it immediately.
